Client Conversations Overcoming Fear and Insecurity with Shemaine Doyle

Jaime’s client, Shemaine, left the corporate world a year ago to start a business. Fear and insecurity were at the front and center of every decision. Fear had stopped her before. The fear of scarcity as a mother and wife, combined with the insecurity of not knowing if she had the right skills to lead a branding agency, had kept her from making the leap.

Once Shemaine started applying coaching tools to shift those thoughts, her fear and insecurity completely disappeared.

It all just evaporated. But it took time and effort and patience with herself to retrain her brain. She went from feeling like she had to work 50 hours a week to realizing her skills and talents and outcomes aren’t tied to hours. She could work 10 hours and take a vacation and it in no way stood in the way of her success.

Through her journey, Shemaine realized that mindset is as critical to a successful business as anything else. It all starts there.
